About
A little bit about me...

Saul Beeson. Urmston, Manchester.
I've been into photography for a quite a long time but have only taken it seriously since 2005. In 2008 I finished 2 years of studying photography at MANCAT. Going to college enabled me to experiment with traditional dark-room printing, something I really enjoy, I hope to continue and expand on this in the future.
I first thought seriously about photography when I started exploring old buildings and structures and wanted to document the places and the finds I made inside. I started out with a small point and shoot digital camera, a far cry from the Canon 5D I use today.
It was the dark, difficult conditions I found within the derelict shells of industry and hospitals that pressed me to learn more about photography so that I could accurately capture what I saw and use the conditions to my advantage.
I hope to achieve a career in photojournalism or documentary photography....one day.
